I am an MSc student focusing on interpretable Deep Learning. My work uses Flood Susceptibility Mapping (FSM) within the Humber River Basin as a framework to investigate complex spatial interactions.

I am particularly focused on using Explainable AI (XAI) and geostatistics to extract physical insights from neural networks, to reveal the underlying non-linear connections between hydrogeomorphic processes, urbanization, and flood risk.
